|Mock GM Draft|
When I was 13 years old, a good friend of mine picked up a RB to replace the injured Ricky Watters in Seattle for our fantasy football league. He picked up Shaun Alexander. I had no idea who Mr. Alexander was, I even mocked said friend for such a futile waiver move. Well he turned out to be a stud. When I asked my friend how he knew Shaun would be good...it turns out he was a former first round pick. First rounders don't always pan out so brilliantly. Nevertheless, this sparked a rabid interest in the NFL draft and predicting success that has stuck with me since.
I decided the best measure to see if I was good at predicting NFL success was to do it myself. I started pretending to pick for a team and comparing my picks to theirs over several years.
I've done this for years in my notebooks and excel sheets. But I wanted to start documenting my success and my failure, which brings me to my new project at this site
